Description
The Twin Air Powerflow Kit addresses the critical issue of airbox sealing, ensuring that even the best air filter performs optimally. By replacing the flimsy plastic stock cage with a rigid, lightweight aluminum cage (and a billet-aluminum flange where applicable), this kit guarantees a leak-proof fit. Custom-designed for each specific application, the Powerflow Kit improves airflow, enhances the sealing surface, eliminates the restrictive backfire screen, and streamlines servicing. For 4-stroke engines, the kit replaces the original backfire screen with a specialized screen featuring a backfire-resistant foam layer laminated to the inside. Select kits, such as those for the YZ450F 2010-2013, also include a complete airbox to increase intake volume.
