Description
The SKF Fork Seal Kit features the brand's renowned Dual Compound fork seals, celebrated for their smoothness and ability to protect against water and dirt. Manufactured using SKF's proprietary "Super Low Friction NBR" compounds, these seals incorporate a robust internal metal stamping that supports the sealing lips, reducing fork stiction and boosting durability. The dual-compound construction utilizes green and red materials with unique properties. The tough, durable green part maintains high surface grip without increasing friction, while the soft, flexible red part adapts to micro-imperfections on the fork tube, ensuring exceptional fork movement. The redesigned fork wiper includes a self-cleaning, open-wind spring to increase sealing pressure and allow mud to flow through, maintaining stable radial load and optimized contact. A new metallic component inside the dirt scraper and oil seal provides structural integrity, while redesigned lips maximize contamination exclusion and enhance shaft followability.
