Description

The Shindy Retro Round Master Cylinder Kit provides reliable hydraulic brake actuation with a polished black finish. Designed for motorcycles using 7/8" handlebars, this master cylinder is compatible with many Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki models from 2002 onward that utilize an M10 x P1.25 banjo bolt. Note that some older Suzuki and many Ducati models use an M10 x P1.0 banjo bolt, requiring a replacement. The lever is angled to accommodate handlebars bent 15° lower from the horizontal motorcycle position, providing optimal ergonomics and control. Important to know

This master cylinder is not compatible with DOT 5 silicone brake fluid. It requires the use of DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid. The DOT-Certification is only valid in the USA. Banjo bolt is NOT included, but uses a M10 x P1.25 banjo bolt, which is the same size used on the OEM master cylinders on most Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki models '02 and newer. Some Ducati and older Suzuki applications are M10 x P1.0 and will require a new banjo bolt.
