Description
The S&S Cycle TC3 Oil Pump and Cam Support Plate Kit is precision CNC machined from forged aluminum for exceptional strength and dimensional stability. This design eliminates internal porosity, ensuring consistent performance. The separate scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest improve oil scavenging efficiency. The gerotors are engineered to tolerate increased pinion shaft runout, preventing damage and extending service life. A magnetic trap in the cam chest pickup protects the scavenge rotors from metal debris, a common cause of oil pump failure. The kit also features replaceable bronze pinion shaft bushings and cam bushings (07-15 style). The adjustable oil pressure regulator allows fine-tuning without removing the plate from the engine. The 99-06 cam support plate utilizes late-style hydraulic cam chain tensioners to maintain optimal valve train control at high RPM, especially with high-lift cams or performance valve springs.
