Description
The S&S Cycle MR103 Easy Start Camshaft Kit is engineered for bolt-in installation in 103" engines with stock 9.7:1 to 10.5:1 compression ratios. This camshaft kit features an easy start mechanism that reduces crank compression during startup. Once the engine reaches operating RPM, the compression release lobe retracts, allowing the engine to run at full compression without any performance loss. Expect increased power, especially between 2500 RPM and 5500 RPM. The MR103 camshafts work well with stock, un-ported heads and are an excellent match for S&S CNC ported heads. Installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance, and valve-to-piston clearance during installation. This kit is not compatible with models equipped with OEM compression releases.
