Description

The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit is designed to replace the vulnerable stock cam chain tensioner with a robust gear drive system, improving cam timing accuracy and eliminating potential failure points. The kit features a billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate, precision-machined and anodized in blue, ensuring optimal oil flow and durability. Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest, along with debris screens in both scavenge pickups, provide superior oil scavenging and filtration. The adjustable pressure relief valve allows for fine-tuning, while the magnet in the cam chest further protects the oil pump from debris. S&S Quickee pushrods with finished pushrod tubes and premium tappets are included, along with billet aluminum tappet cuffs for enhanced stability and reduced distortion at high RPMs. This kit provides everything needed for a complete installation, ensuring your M8 engine runs smoother and stronger.
