The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit for M8 engines is engineered for enthusiasts and professionals seeking to enhance their motorcycle's performance. The oil pump and cam plate are precision-machined from billet aluminum, featuring a durable blue anodized finish. Removable passage plugs facilitate easy servicing, while independent scavenge sections efficiently manage oil in the flywheel cavity and cam chest. Debris screens in both scavenge pickups ensure clean oil circulation, and increased oil flow capacity on both the feed and scavenge sides optimizes lubrication. The adjustable pressure relief valve can be adjusted while installed. A strategically placed magnet in the cam chest prevents debris from entering the oil pump. The kit includes S&S Quickee pushrods with finished pushrod tubes, S&S premium tappets, and billet aluminum tappet cuffs with a hard-anodized black coating for added strength and distortion resistance. This kit enhances tappet stability, improves cam timing accuracy, and eliminates the stock cam chain tensioner. Outer drive gears, all necessary gaskets, bearings, and hardware are included for a complete and hassle-free installation.
