Description
The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit is meticulously engineered to provide superior performance and longevity for your M8 engine. The oil pump and cam plate, precision machined from billet aluminum and featuring a distinctive blue anodized finish, offer independent scavenge sections for both the flywheel cavity and cam chest. Debris screens in both pickups and a magnet in the cam chest prevent contaminants from entering the oil pump, ensuring clean oil circulation. The increased flow capacity on both the feed and scavenge sides, coupled with an adjustable pressure relief valve, allows for fine-tuning of your engine's oil pressure. The kit also includes S&S high-performance cam chain tensioners, Quickee pushrods and S&S precision tappets. Billet aluminum tappet cuffs with a hard anodized black coating provide enhanced tappet stability, especially in high-lift and high-RPM conditions. Complete with all necessary gaskets, bearings, and hardware, this kit is proudly made in the USA.
