A key innovation is the independent scavenge sections for both the flywheel cavity and cam chest, each equipped with debris screens in their pickups to maintain oil cleanliness and prevent blockages. This design, combined with increased oil flow capacity on both the feed and scavenge sides, ensures optimal lubrication and cooling, which is crucial for high-performance applications. The adjustable pressure relief valve allows for fine-tuning of oil pressure even when the unit is installed in the engine.
