Description
The S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit is engineered to deliver superior performance and durability for your M8 engine. At the heart of the kit is a precision-machined billet aluminum oil pump and cam plate, featuring a blue anodized finish for enhanced corrosion resistance and a distinctive look. The independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest, along with debris screens in both pickups and a magnet in the cam chest, provide superior oil filtration and prevent debris from entering the oil pump. Increased flow capacity on both the feed and scavenge sides ensures optimal lubrication and cooling. The adjustable pressure relief valve allows for fine-tuning of oil pressure, even with the unit installed. S&S high-performance cam chain tensioners are included for reliable cam timing. Paired with S&S precision tappets, Quickee pushrods and billet aluminum tappet cuffs that eliminate distortion, and a performance cam, this kit delivers improved engine performance and longevity. All necessary gaskets, bearings, and hardware are included for a hassle-free installation.
