The S&S Cycle 583 Easy Start Camshaft Kit addresses the common issue of high compression engines being difficult to start. This kit includes camshafts, gear cover gasket, bearings, retaining ring, o-ring, thread lock, and instructions. The installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance, and valve-to-piston clearance. This kit is not for models with OEM compression releases and is not recommended for compression ratios of 10.0:1 or greater.
