The bolt-in design means no complex case machining is required, simplifying installation for 114" and 117" M8 engines. At its core, this kit integrates an advanced S&S oil pump/cam plate, distinguished by its blue anodized finish. This system is engineered for superior lubrication and engine longevity, featuring independent scavenge sections for both the flywheel cavity and cam chest, along with debris screens in both pickups. A strategically placed magnet in the cam chest further prevents debris from entering the oil pump, while increased oil flow capacity on both the feed and scavenge sides maintains optimal oil pressure. An adjustable pressure relief valve offers tuning flexibility, even when installed. Performance is further enhanced by Quickee pushrods, S&S premium tappets, and hard-anodized, black coated billet aluminum tappet cuffs. The S&S 550 cams are specifically designed for big bore applications, complemented by high-performance conical single wire valve springs that accommodate cams up to 0.605" lift.
