The Rick's Motorsport Electric Starter for Arctic Cat offers a reliable and high-quality alternative to OEM starter motors. This starter is engineered to provide superior performance and longevity, ensuring your Arctic Cat starts reliably every time.
Description
Many OEM starter motors suffer from a design flaw: an unprotected output needle bearing located outside the output shaft seal. This allows moisture to infiltrate the output cap, leading to corrosion and premature failure of the bearing. Rick's Motorsport Electric addresses this issue with a smart and robust solution. They install a double-sealed ball bearing, positioning the output shaft seal on the outside of the bearing. This simple yet effective engineering upgrade provides dual benefits. First, the outside bearing is shielded from damaging water entry, significantly extending its lifespan. Second, the sealed ball bearing is easily replaceable, further enhancing the starter's overall serviceability. Invest in a starter built to last and experience the Rick's Motorsport Electric difference.
