Description

Renthal's Twinring™ rear sprocket significantly extends sprocket life compared to traditional aluminum sprockets, lasting up to three times longer. The inner ring is machined from Ultralight™ 7075 T-6 aluminum, the same material used in Renthal's renowned standard sprockets. The outer ring is constructed from electro-less nickel-coated steel, providing exceptional wear resistance. The outer ring is thermally fitted to the inner ring at 200°C, creating an incredibly strong and permanent bond via an interference fit and wave pattern design. Flat socket head screws further enhance the sprocket's strength, particularly against side impacts, while also preventing contact with the chain guide. Self-cleaning mud grooves are incorporated between each tooth to prevent dirt accumulation, reducing chainwheel wear and minimizing weight.
