Description

The Renthal Twinring™ Rear Sprocket features a high-strength 7075 T-6 aluminum inner ring, identical to Renthal's renowned Ultralight™ sprockets, minimizing weight without compromising strength. The outer ring is constructed from electro-less nickel-coated steel, maximizing durability and resistance to wear. Designed with minimal material, the steel outer ring maintains a low weight profile. The outer ring is thermally expanded at 200°C before being fitted over the inner ring, creating a permanent bond through an interference fit and wave pattern. Flat socket head screws further enhance the sprocket's strength, especially during side impacts, and prevent contact with the chain guide. Self-cleaning mud grooves between each tooth prevent dirt buildup, reducing chainwheel wear and maintaining optimal performance. This sprocket lasts three times longer than an all-aluminum sprocket while remaining significantly lighter than an all-steel sprocket, offering superior performance and longevity.
