Description
The Progressive Suspension 444 Series shocks utilize Frequency Sensing Technology (FST) to automatically adjust damping based on bump frequency. This innovative technology, combined with deflective disc valving, provides a smooth and controlled ride in various conditions. The pre-load spring can be easily adjusted by hand, eliminating the need for special tools. High-pressure gas charging ensures consistent performance, while the progressive-rate spring enhances comfort and handling. With an extended length of 12.5", these chrome shocks are sold in pairs and designed for rear mounting positions. The internal reservoir ensures consistent performance and durability. Shocks slightly longer or shorter than the stock length may alter the head angle and affect steering. Before purchasing or installing shocks with different than OEM length, verify that wheel travel can be altered without causing clearance issues, such as swingarm/axle to exhaust contact, or chain/belt guard or tire contact. Heavy-duty applications are recommended for bikes operating at or near the maximum load rating over 50% of the time.
