Description
The Metzeler Roadtec™ 01 tire delivers a significant upgrade in performance compared to its predecessor, the Roadtec Z8 Interact. It achieves up to 10% increased mileage through a redesigned footprint that's both larger and shorter, enhancing motorcycle handling. The radial positioning of grooves provides increased grip on wet roads, particularly on low-friction surfaces like city streets and worn tarmac, even in low temperatures. Revised land/sea ratio on the rear tire, combined with the new tread design, ensures consistent performance throughout the tire's lifespan. The rebalanced tire stiffness allows for better adherence of the rubber with the tarmac micro-asperities, increasing mechanical grip even on lower friction surfaces. This HWM (Heavy Weight Motorcycles) special version is specifically engineered to further improve the performance characteristics needed for heavier bikes.
