The Magnum Shielding XR Handlebar Installation Kit is engineered to provide a complete and high-quality solution for riders looking to install ape hanger style handlebars. This all-inclusive kit contains essential components such as low-effort, high-efficiency throttle and idle cables (or fully terminated throttle-by-wire extensions), a robust clutch cable or hydraulic clutch line, and advanced XR DOT brake lines. Each component is meticulously crafted to meet or exceed all OE specifications for fitment, construction, and endurance, guaranteeing reliable performance.
Experience enhanced braking response and superior durability with the XR DOT brake lines, which feature heavy gauge stainless steel embedded in a tough, abrasion-resistant nylon outer jacket. All fittings are highly polished before plating for a premium finish, while manifolds (where included) boast an all-brazed construction for optimal OE fitment and appearance, utilizing -3 AN connections for straightforward installation. This kit is specifically designed for ape hanger style handlebars and 2" risers, accommodating handlebar heights between 15" - 17" (38 cm - 43 cm). The brake lines are fully compliant with all DOT FMVSS-106 Specifications, ensuring safety and peace of mind.
