The Kibblewhite Nitrided Valve is constructed from one-piece stainless steel and features a stellite tip for enhanced durability. A specialized nitriding process, with a depth of 0.002" and a surface buildup of 0.0002", fortifies the valve, improving its wear properties and reducing friction. This nitriding process provides exceptional resistance to corrosion and outperforms hard chromium and electrolysis nickel-plating. The lightweight design and optimized profile ensure excellent flow characteristics, maximizing engine performance. Compatible with both leaded and unleaded fuels, this valve can be used with cast iron and bronze-type guides, allowing for tight tolerances that promote optimal oil control and heat dissipation.
