Torquing down the rear axle nut on all 2002 to present FLH/FLT models, for example after rear belt adjustment, the welded axle nut tends to move to the low side of the adjuster cam. This movement will allow the belt to loose adjustment. With this 3rd hand axle tool you are able to lock the axle without the assistance of any helper. This tool holds the nut without having to reach around the rear tire to hold the nut from moving. Simply place the 3rd hand over the welded nut on the left-hand side of the motorcycle. With the neck portion of the tool resting over the swingarm, hand tighten the adjuster screw to take up any slack in tool. Torque the axle nut from the right-hand side knowing that the welded nut will not turn. Instructions are included.
