Description
James Gasket Tappet Cover Gaskets are crafted using a Rubber-Covered Metal design. Constructed from a solid steel sheet coated on both sides with a high-temperature elastomer, these gaskets provide exceptional resistance to heat and pressure. Strategically placed elastomer beading ensures a positive seal, effectively preventing leaks and maintaining optimal engine performance. A clear silicone conformal coating fills minor flange imperfections, guaranteeing a tight fit and facilitating easy removal. The Foamet® product line features an aluminum core coated on both sides with expanded nitrile rubber, further enhanced with a silicone release coating, ensuring excellent release characteristics upon disassembly. These gaskets exhibit excellent torque retention properties and will not extrude under high torque loads, providing long-lasting reliability.
