Description
James Gasket Tappet Cover Gaskets are constructed using advanced materials and manufacturing processes. The Rubber-Covered Metal line features a solid steel sheet coated with a high-temperature elastomer on both sides, ensuring a robust and reliable seal. Strategically placed elastomer beading further enhances the seal, while a clear silicone conformal coating fills minor imperfections in the flanges, facilitating easy removal. These gaskets exhibit excellent torque retention properties and resist extrusion under high torque loads.
The Foamet® product line incorporates an aluminum core coated on both sides with expanded nitrile rubber and finished with a silicone release coating. This design provides a positive seal and excellent release characteristics during disassembly, making maintenance easier and more efficient.
