The Hot Cams Stage 3 Camshaft is engineered to provide a 5%-10% power gain, specifically targeting peak top-end horsepower. Manufactured using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) from 8620 billet steel and case hardened, this camshaft ensures durability and precise performance. The design is dyno-proven in the USA and meticulously engineered using advanced valvetrain software. Many Hot Cams feature Improved Throttle Response (I.T.R.) technology, enhancing throttle response throughout the entire RPM range while providing excellent power gains in the mid-range and top-end. These camshafts are designed as drop-in replacements that utilize stock valve springs unless otherwise noted, making installation straightforward for experienced mechanics.
