The Hot Cams Stage 1 Camshaft is engineered to provide a 5%-10% power gain. Designed and dyno-proven in the USA, this camshaft is manufactured using state-of-the-art valvetrain software and CNC machined from 8620 billet, case-hardened steel, ensuring an exact fit and lobe profile. Hot Cams camshafts are drop-in cams, designed to work seamlessly with stock valve springs (unless otherwise noted). Certain cams also feature Hot Cams Improved Throttle Design (ITR) technology, dramatically improving throttle response throughout the RPM range, delivering exceptional power gains in the mid-range and top-end.
