Description

This billet dipstick vents crankcase pressure from the oil tank through an advanced PCV-style breather, complete with an oil separator system, perforated disc, replaceable filter element, and umbrella flapper valve. By effectively reducing blowby – the pressure forced past the rings and cylinders into the crankcase and oil tank – the Feuling dipstick helps maintain optimal oil levels and reduces unwanted pressure buildup. Feuling's tests demonstrate that using this vented dipstick results in lower engine oil sump levels, smoother engine revving, increased MPG, and decreased blowby. It offers two venting options: a 1/8 NPT breather vent fitting with an internal porous filter element and a quick-disconnect coupler fitting with a rubber hose and filter element. Important to know

It is crucial to maintain the correct hot oil level in your motorcycle. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level between 90% and 99% full when hot. There are two ways to accurately read the oil level: with the bike on the jiffy stand (FHS - Full Hot Stand) or upright and level (FHU - Full Hot Upright). Since the oil pickup port is on the right side of the engine, avoid idling or warming up the bike on the kickstand, as this can skew the oil level reading in the tank. Note: This dipstick gets hot, so use a glove when checking the oil level.
