EBC's DRC Series Clutch Kit is engineered for enhanced clutch performance and longevity. The anti-swell, alloy-impregnated, heavy-duty cork-based friction facings provide a smooth and modulated clutch engagement, unlike paper clutches that tend to grab. The kit contains a complete set of friction plates, heavy-duty springs, and steel separator plates. These components work together to prevent premature wear of the driven plates, reduce oil contamination, and maintain optimal stack height. The swagged aluminum carriers effectively distribute the load on the clutch basket, preventing damage and "dogging." The included heavy-duty clutch springs are uprated by 10-15% to provide increased clamping force and prevent slippage under demanding conditions.
