Description
EBC's DRC Series Clutch Kit features anti-swell, alloy-impregnated, heavy-duty cork-based facings, providing smooth and predictable clutch engagement. Unlike paper clutches that can be grabby, these facings allow for excellent modulation and control. The kit includes a complete engine set of friction plates, heavy-duty springs, and steel separator plates designed to prevent premature wear of the driven plates. This minimizes oil contamination and maintains optimal stack height, ensuring consistent performance over time. Built with swagged aluminum carriers, the kit evenly distributes the load on the clutch basket, preventing "dogging" and extending the life of the clutch basket itself. The included heavy-duty clutch springs are uprated by 10-15%, providing increased clamping force for high-performance applications and preventing slippage under heavy loads.
