Description
This complete engine set includes friction plates, heavy-duty springs, and steel separator plates, working together to prevent premature driven plate wear, oil muddying, and loss of stack height. Unlike paper clutches that tend to snatch, the DRC series allows for smooth clutch take-up and precise modulation. The friction plates feature anti-swell, alloy-impregnated, heavy-duty cork-based facings for consistent performance. Furthermore, the kit incorporates swagged aluminum carriers that effectively spread the load on the clutch basket, preventing clutch basket "dogging" and ensuring optimal power transfer. The included heavy-duty clutch springs are uprated by 10-15%, providing increased clamping force for improved performance under demanding conditions.
