Important to know

This ignition module is not compatible with fuel-injected models or Dyna "S" systems; use HD1/HD2 systems only. Carbon fiber-type suppression spark plug wires are required to reduce radio frequency interference when using electronic advance ignitions like the Dyna 2000-HD1 or the stock Harley ignition. Copper wires may cause ignition malfunction due to electrical noise. The original wires supplied by Harley-Davidson should be suitable.
