The Drag Specialties 1.7kW High-Performance Starter Motor delivers increased torque and reliability for your modified touring motorcycle. Featuring a robust permanent magnet motor coupled to an OEM-style offset gear reduction case, this starter is a direct drop-in replacement for hard-starting bikes. The special pinion shaft threads and extended jackshaft bolt ensure compatibility across a wider range of applications. A minimum 300 CCA battery with 4-gauge battery cables is recommended due to the high inrush current of the permanent magnet motor. For optimum performance, use with Drag Specialties battery and battery cables.
