Description
The DPK Clutch Kit from DP Brakes is designed to provide superior performance and longevity compared to OEM and aftermarket clutches. Each kit includes friction plates, steel drive plates, and clutch springs (except when the OEM clutch incorporates a reusable diaphragm spring). The clutch components are housed in a foam-lined hard plastic case, ensuring protection during shipping and handling and can be repurposed after installation. The clutch is ready to race right out of the box, eliminating the need for pre-soaking the plates in oil. The exclusive high-heat friction materials deliver fade-free performance, while the friction compounds are specifically designed for off-road and dual-sport bikes. Steel drive plates resist expansion, fading, and swelling, offering up to 300% more life than stock plates. The increased weight of the steel plates enhances the flywheel effect, improving starting and traction. Clutch springs are precision-wound using chrome silicone wire, heat-treated, and shot-peened for maximum life, ensuring no slippage with robust spring rates and improving clutch feel.
