These stator cover gaskets are constructed from AFM (Aramid Fiber Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This advanced material provides exceptional sealing properties, preventing leaks and maintaining optimal engine performance. The aluminum core reinforces the gasket, preventing weeping or crawling, especially in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. Save valuable service time with AFM, as it won't stick to the engine case, making replacement quick and easy, eliminating the need for scraping. No gasket sealants or silicone bead is required, and re-torque is also unnecessary.
