Cometic Clutch Cover Gaskets are constructed from AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This unique construction provides exceptional strength and prevents leaks, weeping, and crawling, even in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. The aluminum core reinforces the gasket, ensuring a tight, reliable seal that withstands high temperatures and pressures. AFM's high-temperature resistance (over 250°F or 121°C) and 85% recovery rate guarantee long-lasting performance and strong torque retention.
