The Belt Drives Ltd. Chain Drive Clutch Lock Tool is designed to lock up the clutch hub and basket assemblies, providing the necessary stability to accurately torque the clutch hub nut. Specifically made for all Belt Drives LTD® (BDL) complete chain drive kits and chain drive baskets with BDL chain drive clutch hubs, this tool prevents slippage and ensures precise torque application. Using this tool helps maintain the integrity of your clutch assembly and guarantees correct installation.
Crafted from durable aluminum and finished in blue, this tool is built to withstand the rigors of professional use. Always follow specified torque ranges: a maximum torque of 50-60 ft. lbs. on tapered mainshaft hub nuts and 70-80 ft. lbs. on splined clutch hub nuts should be observed. This tool is designed for use with a torque wrench only and should never be used with an impact wrench, which can cause damage to the clutch hub.
