Most bikes with bigger engines have a good negative acceleration when reducing the throttle, in which case the brake switch is not activated and the following traffic can not see that the speed of the bike is reduced. Which could cause dangerous situations. The Speed 2 Brake is an electronic brake switch that hangs parallel to one of the original brake switches. The Speed 2 Brake has a speed sensor input that signals a reduced speed and activates the brake light in case of a negative acceleration. The sensitivity is adjustable by 10 steps Please note that the Speed 2 Brake is made for active wheel sensors what deliver a square wave signal to the speedo. Pure analog solutions with a coil will not work correct for this module.
