The Alpinestars SM3 Youth Helmet is anatomically engineered and profiled specifically for younger riders, providing a superior blend of impact protection and lightweight performance. Its thermo-injected outer shell is crafted from a technologically advanced, impact-resistant thermoplastic, incorporating a special polymer blend with varying degrees of thickness. This design ensures optimal protection while maintaining a remarkably light weight of just 1060g for the SM3 Youth model. The helmet's fit can be precisely tailored to the rider's head thanks to crown and cheek pads available as genuine spare parts in various thicknesses, allowing for growth and personalized comfort. The inner liner features multiple densities to ensure enhanced impact absorption in critical areas, further reducing overall weight. Both the inner and outer surfaces are meticulously engineered to minimize the effects of oblique impacts, complemented by Alpinestars' patented low friction coating on the main EPS liner. This innovative layer acts as a slip plane, reducing rotational acceleration forces during certain oblique impacts, mimicking the brain's natural defense. Important to Know

The helmet's fit can be tailored using genuine spare crown and cheek pads, which are available in different thicknesses but are not included with the helmet and must be purchased separately. Youth Medium and Youth Large sizes share the same EPS size, allowing for growth configuration with these spare parts. Youth Small has a dedicated smaller EPS size.
