Description
The S&S Cycle 640 Easy Start Camshaft Kit allows for an easy start by initially reducing crank compression. Once the engine starts and RPM increases, the compression release lobe centrifugally retracts, allowing the engine to run normally with full compression and without any loss in performance. This camshaft kit is intended for 95", 96", 103", and 110" engines with compression ratios between 10.5:1 and 11.5:1. Experience the difference with improved throttle response and increased horsepower throughout the rev range. This kit requires high-lift springs and adjustable pushrods. Installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance, and valve-to-piston clearance. Not for models with OEM compression releases.
