Optimized for MX, Enduro, and off-road use, this helmet provides excellent protection and comfort for young riders hitting the trails or the track. The SM3 Youth Helmet features advanced materials and design to ensure maximum safety and performance.
Description
The SM3 Youth Helmet's lightweight outer shell is constructed from a technologically advanced impact-resistant thermoplastic, available in three sizes (Youth Small, Youth Medium, and Youth Large). The thermo-injected shell incorporates a special polymer blend with varying degrees of thickness, engineered to deliver the optimal combination of impact protection and light weight. Multiple density inner liner ensures the helmet is equipped with the correct density in the correct area for enhanced impact absorption, while also helping reduce overall weight. The inner and outer surfaces are engineered to minimize the effects of oblique impacts. Alpinestars' patented low friction coating is applied to the inner part of the main EPS liner to reduce rotational acceleration forces. Ventilation is maximized thanks to 10 inlets and seven exhaust ports, and the visor is designed to direct air into the ports for enhanced airflow.
